Overview
Healthy Home conducted lead sampling for a homeowner in Sisters who was about to begin an extensive home renovation project. Lead-based paint was identified on the base molding and casing throughout the house. Healthy Home recommended that all work is conducted following lead-safe work practices to minimize the potential for lead exposure to the occupants.

Overview
A Gold Beach homeowner was concerned about radon entering their home through the basement and asked Healthy Home to conduct short-term radon sampling. The radon levels were well below the EPA threshold, assuring the homeowner that the occupants living in the basement were not exposed to excessive radon gas.

Overview
A Eugene homeowner called for asbestos testing prior to the start of a home renovation project. A comprehensive asbestos survey was conducted to represent all suspect building materials within the home. The wall textures were found to contain asbestos above the regulatory threshold. Healthy Home assisted the homeowner in arranging with a licensed asbestos abatement contractor to handle the materials safely.
