Overview
Concerned about long-term exposure in their Beaverton daylight basement, a family requested our radon kit deployment; results came in low, but we suggested annual retests given the area’s known elevated radon levels.

Overview
Healthy Home conducted lead sampling for a homeowner in Sisters who was about to begin an extensive home renovation project. Lead-based paint was identified on the base molding and casing throughout the house. Healthy Home recommended that all work is conducted following lead-safe work practices to minimize the potential for lead exposure to the occupants.

Services: Asbestos & Lead Testing

Overview
A Medford homeowner called for asbestos testing prior to the start of a home renovation project. A comprehensive asbestos survey was conducted to represent all suspect building materials within the home. The wall and ceiling textures were found to contain asbestos above the regulatory threshold. Healthy Home assisted the homeowner arrange with a licensed asbestos abatement contractor to remove the asbestos-containing materials prior to the renovation work beginning, eliminating the source for potential exposure to asbestos to the family.

Overview
A Springfield homeowner contacted Healthy Home prior to a renovation for asbestos and lead testing. A limited asbestos and lead-based paint inspection was completed to represent the materials that were to be impacted by the work. None of the materials sampled contained asbestos, but the paint on the trim contained lead above the EPA/HUD regulatory threshold. Healthy Home provided guidance to select licensed professionals who implement lead-safe work practices.
