Overview
Healthy Home conducted lead sampling for a homeowner in Sisters who was about to begin an extensive home renovation project. Lead-based paint was identified on the base molding and casing throughout the house. Healthy Home recommended that all work is conducted following lead-safe work practices to minimize the potential for lead exposure to the occupants.

Overview
Healthy Home was able to identify the source of a leak causing water to collect in the closet of a bedroom, and suggest corrective actions to stop the leak and prevent mold growth. Wet building materials were removed and replaced, and the home is now able to be reoccupied, with no concerns over the air quality in the house due to mold.

Overview
A Eugene homeowner called for asbestos testing prior to the start of a home renovation project. A comprehensive asbestos survey was conducted to represent all suspect building materials within the home. The wall textures were found to contain asbestos above the regulatory threshold. Healthy Home assisted the homeowner in arranging with a licensed asbestos abatement contractor to handle the materials safely.
