Overview
Worried by neighborhood reports, a Alameda family had us sample their basement for the presence radon, The levels were elevated and Healthy Home suggested working with a local radon remediation professional to install a sub-slab suction system to expel radon gas to the outside before it can enter the house.

We were able to recommend adjustments in furniture placement to generate airflow at the inside of exeterior walls, as well as suggestions on vapor barrier improvement during a planned siding replacement project.

Overview
A Medford homeowner contacted Healthy Home due to increasing concerns over occupant health in the home following the installation of a new HVAC system. The homeowner reported headaches and swelling around the eyes when they were in the house. We conducted an indoor air quality investigation, including VOC sampling, and were able to assure the homeowner that the quality of the air within their home was within the established indoor air quality parameters.
